Hawking

Quick over the ground, intelligent and with good manoeuvrability the Harris Hawk is ideal for flying around urban surroundings towards pigeons. It can be induced back to the glove with titbits and presents an excellent low level threat to pest species.

Initially the falconer or falconers will attempt to hit the flock hard. The Harris Hawk will be used to convince the target species that the site is an unsafe place to occupy. Once the initial colony has been moved on, this ongoing treatment is recommended to prevent re- infestation by new birds. The time between visits will depend on site conditions and the target species. Over time you can confidently expect a 90% reduction in your problem.
